At Southend Masjid, we are embarking on an important journey to secure the future of our community. As our congregation continues to grow, so too does the need for space to accommodate our activities and services.
We have identified a crucial opportunity to expand our facilities by acquiring the house adjacent to the masjid. This property will serve as a vital extension of our existing facilities, allowing us to enhance our programs, accommodate more community members, and better serve the needs of all who seek solace and guidance within our walls.
The asking price for this property is £385,000. After accounting for legal fees and expenses the total cost comes to nearly £400,000. Alhamdulillah, we have £150,000 available in our savings, but we still need an additional £250,000 to make this dream a reality. Alhumdullaih during the month of Ramdhan, we reached to local community and had great positive response, our teams visited five different mosques and altogether raise nearly 90K.
